Professional translation coordination for legal, government, business, corporate, academic, immigration, and personal documents used in the UAE or abroad.

More than word-for-word conversion

Translate the document. Understand the route.

Nexent coordinates professional translation requirements for documents intended for UAE authorities, courts, companies, banks, education providers, immigration files, and international use.

The correct service depends on the document, language, receiving authority, intended use, and whether ordinary, certified, or legal translation is required. We help identify that requirement before the file is submitted.

CERTIFIED VS GENERAL

Certification is decided by the receiving authority.

A general translation may be suitable for some business or informational documents. Court, judicial, regulated government, immigration, and official certificate routes may require certified or legal translation.

Nexent identifies the intended authority and coordinates the appropriate provider. The Ministry of Justice maintains a formal registration process for legal translators, so an ordinary translation should not be assumed to be accepted for every official transaction.

TRANSLATION + ATTESTATION

Translation and attestation are different steps.

A translated document is not automatically an attested document. When both are required, the sequence must match the document origin and intended use.

01

Foreign document used in UAE

Original document↓Home-country authentication↓UAE Embassy / Consulate↓Certified translation, where required↓UAE MOFA↓Receiving authority
02

UAE document used abroad

UAE document↓Translation, where required↓MOFA attestation↓Destination embassy / consulate↓Foreign authority
Important:MOFA digital attestation has its own original-document requirements. A scan or photograph is not automatically treated as an original digital document for that route.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Translation FAQs

Useful answers before you choose a language or certification route.

Is every translation certified?

No. Certification depends on the receiving authority, document type, and intended use.

Can I send a scanned document?

Yes, a clear scan can generally be used for initial assessment and quotation. Final government requirements may require an original or eligible digital document.

Is Arabic always mandatory?

No. The authority and transaction determine whether Arabic, English, or a certified translation is required.

Can you translate contracts?

Yes. Nexent can coordinate contract translation, but contractual advice and legal review should come from a qualified lawyer.

Does translation include attestation?

Not automatically. Translation, certification, and attestation are separate services unless included in the quotation.

How much does translation cost?

Pricing depends on language, pages, complexity, urgency, document type, and certification requirements.
